Christmas Care Packages for Troops Overseas
A large gift box has been placed in the back of the sanctuary for donations to add to the care packages that will be sent to troops overseas at Christmas time. Some of the suggested items include beef jerky, headphones, hand sanitizer, dried fruit, long socks, sunflower seeds, playing cards, gum, protein bars, roasted peanuts, baby wipes, bar soap, tissues, nail clippers, deodorant, powder, and razors. Please do not include anything liquid, aerosol cans or chocolate. The gift box will be available until the end of October.
Coudy Trick or Treat Night
Join us at Park Church on Trick or Treat Night to welcome all the children of our community! We will be setting up candy stations from the porch of the parsonage, along the church yard on North East Street and around to the front steps of our church. Each station can be lit and decorated, and easy up tents are encouraged! We will meet to set up around 5:00 pm and will stay open until 8:00 pm. You can help make this night a success four ways:
1. Donate candy. We will begin collecting it in the sanctuary on October 1.
2. Volunteer to hand out candy. Come, dress up if you wish, and have a great time!
3. Bring your kids or grandkids to Park Church to trick or treat with us!
4. Pray for dry weather!!
October Food Pantry Support
Throughout October, we are collecting boxes of instant mashed potatoes and stuffing for the Coudersport Food Pantry at the Alliance Church. Donations can be dropped off at the collection basket in the rear of the sanctuary.
About the Coudersport Food Pantry
The food pantry was created in 1998 as a ministry of Coudersport Alliance Church and is designed to provide tangible resources to those in need within our community. Since that time, we have served thousands of families with food assistance and prayer support.
It is staffed by volunteers from our church and community. Local residents in need of food assistance are welcome to visit the Food Pantry once per month. We appreciate all donations and invite you
to join us in serving our community.

Movie Night: Oct 20
Join us on October 20 as we watch the film “Pardoned by Grace” which tells the true
story of Scott Highberger, a convicted criminal turned prison minister. Through trial
and tribulation, Scott met a God greater than addiction and crime who saved his life.
Despite all odds, Scott receives an unlikely pardon to continue his ministry. Scott
went on to found “Behind the Wire Ministries” which continues to offer Christ to
inmates and break the chains of addiction.
